The Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM mini smart relay module is a Z-Wave 800 device with power metering, capable of controlling 1 circuit, that can be mounted in a fitting box. So you need a Z-Wave hub or USB coordinator to control it. It is powered from 230V AC to AC voltages. It is not suitable for voltage-free switching.

Details

The Shelly Wave 1 PM Mini is a smart relay module with energy monitoring, part of the Shelly Wave product family, utilizing the Z-Wave protocol for communication (868.42 MHz in Europe). The Z-Wave protocol is specifically designed for smart home devices, ensuring robust communication between them. The sub-gigahertz frequency ensures reliable signal propagation, and the Z-Wave MESH network topology allows devices further from the central unit to communicate effectively by using continuously powered devices as repeaters.

Z-Wave devices require a Z-Wave Hub or USB coordinator (connectable to a mini PC) for operation. The Z-Wave protocol uses standardized command classes (Command Class), making it compatible with thousands of products from various brands. A Z-Wave network can include up to 232 devices. Z-Wave also supports association groups, enabling direct linkages between devices within the network. Numerous parameters can be customized at the protocol level, catering to sophisticated user needs.

Pairing Instructions
