The SONOFF Orb-RBS is the Fusion series Matter over Wi-Fi smart wall roller shutter/shade switch, with the well-known MINI-RBS working inside. It enables precise, percentage-based position control of motorized shutters, venetian blinds, and curtains, timed open/close, and easy motor direction reversal (without rewiring). This allows you to achieve more comfortable, energy-efficient, and uniformly controllable shading with a single switch.

Thanks to Matter support, the Orb-RBS offers broad platform compatibility: it connects directly to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant. Local (LAN) control and physical buttons ensure reliable operation even in case of internet outages.

The device is a single-circuit (1-gang) design, connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and requires a neutral wire for wiring. It can be set up quickly and blends aesthetically with existing fittings using Fusion series frames.

The mini module supporting Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols is not only compatible with the eWeLink app common to Sonoff devices but, thanks to the Matter smart home standard, also works seamlessly with platforms such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant, making it practically integrable into any smart home system. When used with the eWeLink application and cloud platform, Sonoff’s wireless R5 switches (available in white and gray) and the S-MATE2 wireless Bluetooth module can be paired with the eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) gateway inside the module. This means not only wired push-button wall switches can be connected, but it can also be controlled from wireless switches.
