The SMLIGHT SLZB-MR3U is a next-generation multi-radio smart home coordinator that integrates two powerful SoCs – Texas Instruments CC2674P10 and Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 – into a compact device, delivering full support for both Zigbee and Thread (including Matter-over-Thread) protocols simultaneously. For maximum flexibility, it seamlessly works with Zigbee2MQTT, ZHA, Matter ecosystems, and Home Assistant without vendor lock-in. This makes it an ideal choice for advanced home automation and open-source platform integration.

It comes preinstalled with the SLZB-OS operating system, ready to use out of the box, including a web interface, OTA updates, VPN, secure access, and automation features. Housed in a compact and durable ABS enclosure with ventilation openings and separate antenna connectors, it offers a modern and long-lasting solution.

The “U” edition is an upgraded version of the SLZB-MR3U: it adds hardware flow control for both radio SoCs, software-controllable RJ45 LEDs, and USB mode that exposes both radios as separate USB-serial devices. It also supports USB passthrough (USB-over-IP), enabling USB radios (e.g. ZWA-2) to be accessed over the network.
