SLWF-01Pro DIY Custom Wi-Fi module for Air conditioners

The SLWF-01pro is a universal Wi-Fi smart control module that supports the integration of traditional air conditioners into open source smart home systems.

The module comes factory-equipped with ESPHome firmware to integrate and control compatible air conditioners with open source smart home centres such as Home Assistant, Domoticz and OpenHAB.

Compatibility:

1. Compatible air conditioners: The SLWF-01pro is compatible with many brands of air conditioners with chipset manufactured by Midea:
   ActronAir, Airfel, Alpine, Artel, Ballu, Beco, Bluestar, Bosch, Bryant, Carrier, Comfee, Electrolux, Galactic, Idea, Inventor, Kaisai, KeepRite, Kentatsu, KoolKing, Lennox, Midea, MaxiCool, Mirage, Mitsui, Mr.Cool, Neoclima, Nippon, Olimpia, Olmo, Pioneer, Pitsos, Qlima, Rotenso, RoyalClima, Samsung, Senville, Simando, Toshiba, Vestfrost, Zanussi.
   The complete list is constantly growing as Midea appliances are sold under a variety of brand names.
   
   Note: not all models of the brands listed are guaranteed to be compatible with the module. 2. Smart Home system compatibility:
   
   The module allows you to seamlessly integrate compatible air conditioners into the Home Assistant smart home system, enabling you to implement local automation and remote control without the need for a separate application. (The product does not include a central unit running the Home Assistant system.)
   The module can also be used with other smart home systems such as Domoticz and OpenHub.

Key features and characteristics:

1. Control options:

   a. The device has its own local web interface, which can be accessed from a phone or a browser on a PC connected to the same local network. From here, it is also possible to control the air conditioner via a browser. This is particularly useful if you do not want to integrate the system with other platforms or if you want quick access.
   b. Once integrated with Home Assistant, the device can be controlled from the HA interface and app, and can also be connected to Home Assistant automations. Home Assistant integration is fully automatic (with AutoDiscovery).
   

2. Open source firmware and customisability: The factory-installed ESPHome firmware allows full customisation, so users can modify the features of the device according to their needs.
   

   In addition, it is also possible to integrate various open source solutions, such as Daikin and Haier air conditioners, or AUX air conditioners.

3. Easy to install and use: SLWF-01pro is an easy to install module that can be quickly connected to the air conditioner. It is easy to integrate into the Home Assistant.

4. Extensive support: The unit receives ongoing software support and regular updates are provided by the manufacturer to ensure compatibility with newer air conditioners.

5. Firmware replacement.

7. Installation
   Connect to the USB port of the air conditioner.
   Wait for the AC wifi network to appear.
   Connect to the network with the password slwf01pro.
   Open your browser and enter the address 192.168.4.1.
   In the menu, select the home wifi network.
   Enter the password and connect.
