The USB-C port provides both power and data connectivity, allowing for local backups of the controller.

Powered by a 1.5 GHz ARMv8 quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB of flash storage, the system is optimized to run approximately 20 apps in parallel—sufficient for most home installations. On the network and protocol side, the Pro mini offers reliable LAN-based operation and supports a wide range of Matter-compatible devices via Zigbee and Thread radios.

Additional wireless protocols such as Z-Wave, Bluetooth LE, 433 MHz, and Infrared can be added using a Homey Bridge. The Bridge's Satellite Mode also enhances wireless coverage within your home.
