Invisible installation. Installing Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 is easy. Pairing it with an automation system takes no more than activating the battery and scanning the QR code. Making the door sensor invisible means little more than a drill hole hidden away on the door frame.

Perfectly upgraded by Aeotec’s Gen7 technology. The Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 features Z-Wave Plus V2, S2 wireless security, and SmartStart installation.

Up to 2 years battery life. With its all new technology, Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 now lasts two times longer than older models. Changing the battery is simple. Lifting the Recessed Door Sensor 7 out its door frame, swapping the battery, and slotting the sensor back into the door.

Real-time status: Monitor when a door is opened or closed.

Trigger smart automation scenes or routines whenever the installation door is opened or closed.

Compatible with Z-Wave systems. The Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 is compatible with Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus gateways.

Wireless communication. The Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 is dependable. Through its use of Aeotec’s Gen7 technology, the wireless range allows Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 to communicate with other Z-Wave devices up to 120 metres away.
